First Christian Church offers a warm and welcoming environment for everyone to come together and worship. Our Sunday services are filled with uplifting music, inspiring sermons, and a sense of community that will enrich your faith journey.
Bible Study Groups
Join one of our Bible study groups to deepen your understanding of the Word of God and grow in your spiritual walk. Our ladies meet for Bible Study on the third Wednesday each month at 6:30 PM. Our men have a men's breakfast on the last Saturday of the month at 8 AM..
Fellowship Opportunities
At First Christian Church, we believe in the power of fellowship and building meaningful relationships within our community. We have a monthly fellowship dinner after the morning service, and we host various events and gatherings throughout the year.
Who We Are
First Christian Church has a rich history in Tallapoosa. Founded in 1893, the church has been a faithful witness for Christ in Haralson County and West Georgia.
First Christian is part of the independent Christian churches known as the restoration movement. We desire to be simply like the church as described in the book of Acts focusing on gathering for worship and prayer, celebrating the Lord's supper each week, studying God's word together, and growing closer to each other as a church family.
